I’ve needed some inspiration.
A mix of history and beauty.
Camille booked us at the most amazing hotel in the middle of the Bucaco National Forrest.
Not only is the hotel full of treasures like old photos and amazing furniture from the mid-1800’s, but attached to the hotel is a monastery. In it are original religious paintings and figures. The garden dating back to 1886 took my breath away or maybe it was the winding nature trail, established by the friars, we took a bit ago? It’s amazing to think of the lives spent here in the middle of the woods. Apparently Napoleon’s men fought a battle here.
Above was just the palace.
